Q: Which countries can Synapse™ system be used in?
A: Synapse™ system can be
used in all countries where GSM/GPRS networks are available.
Currently Microsoft MapPoint™
software offer detailed street-level map sets only
for Europe (EU) and North America (US, Canada, Mexico),
for all other countries could be used OziExplorer™
or GoogleEarth™.

software licences must be purchased separately by each
client.
Q: How much are the costs?
A: Normally the cost
for end-user is about 400-450$USD for hardware (per unit
installed in a vehicle) and about 10-15$USD* per month
for service subscription. Discounts are available and
depending on volume of vehicles you are going to join
Synapse™. The system provides many possibilities via Internet
and GSM/GPRS networks, but Synapse™ doesn't offer such
kind of services, so before you start you must obtain
an Internet connection and an account with SIM card at
your GSM/GPRS service provider. *Prices
can vary depending on region and reseller.
Q: How much are GSM/GPRS expenses?
A: GSM/GPRS expenses can vary
depended on region and service provider. Also it's depended
on the method of data transmission available in your region
and offered by your GSM service provider. Synapse™ can
exchange the data in 2 ways: 1. using SMS service; 2.
using GPRS service. Normally if you are going to track
a vehicle with 1 min. interval you will pay for SMS data
transmission about 25-35$USD per month or just 5-7$USD
per month for GPRS*. *Costs can
vary depending on an owner activity.
Q: Where could i subscribe for Synapse™ service and purchase necessary equipment?
